    Alex Kaplan a New York City and Northern New Jersey based people and event Photographer. He started shooting headshots professionally at the age of 21 in New York City's upper east side's "Eastside Photography", which at that time was one of the busiest headshot studios in Manhattan. At the same time, he managed the Photo Studio Lab and the Digital Imaging Department.

    He and his family has a long history with photography. His great grandfather owned and operated one of the very first photo studio's in Moscow. His grandmother was a professional retouched, she retouched and colored black and white prints. His father owned and operated multiple photo studios, custom photography labs, and one hour photo's in New York City and Northern New Jersey.

    Alex Kaplan has photographed and enjoys shooting: Street Photography, Fashion Photography, Beauty Photography, Model Portfolio's Photography, Actor Headshots Photography, Lifestyle Photography, Advertising Photography, Architectural Photography, Cityscape Photography, Seascape Photography, Commercial Photography, Documentary Photography, Fine Art Photography, Food Photography, Glamour Photography, Macro Photography, Nature Photography, Night Photography, Corporate Events Photography and Wedding Photography, and Videography.

    Currently, Alex Kaplan operates in two photography studios, one in Paramus, New Jersey, Bergen County, North New Jersey, and the other on West 30th street, between 6th and 7th aves, two blocks from Penn Station.

    He will travel anywhere.

I cannot stress how wonderful Alex and his team were for our wedding. First, their prices were SO reasonable. You will never get two photographers for 10 hours for the price we got! And the pictures are gorgeous. Alex also was able to provide a videographer for us, who also was so professional, never in the way and did an excellent job highlighting the magical moments of our night. Lastly, we had a photo booth at our wedding with all types of fun props – every guest spoke SO highly of this.
Overall, we were extremely pleased with Alex’s work and service – I would highly recommend him and his team! You will not regret it! – Sandra

Alex and his team were awesome the day of our wedding. They arrived early and stayed till the last minute to capture every shot. The value of two photographers was unbeatable, we were able to get the standard posed shots as well as the candid photo-journalistic ones that we were after. They were extremely professional and covered all of our needs to include the videography and the photo booth. I would and already have recommended them to anyone that is planning an event.
